Postal services in the region are provided by Department of Federal Postal Service of Stavropol Krai – Branch Division of Federal Postal Service of Russia (hereinafter – FPS of Stavropol Krai).

FPS of Stavropol Krai has a network of post stations all over Stavropol Krai. 414 out of the 762 residential areas have post stations while the other areas are served by postmen of the nearest departments.

As of today, Stavropol Krai has 632 points of postal services including 13 post departments, 619 post offices (188 – urban and 431 – rural), and 1 postal motor pool. 450 departments offer shared access to the Internet. Besides, 400 post offices offer services for booking e-tickets (flights and train trips).

Post delivery is carried out on 186 routes with a total length of 32,426 km, and using 214 vehicles at the disposal of FPS of Stavropol Krai.

In accordance with the "Plan for optimization of the network of postal facilities UFPS of Stavropol-2012" to the end of the current year it is planned to introduce 6 mobile post offices in Izobilnensky, Ipatovo, Nevinnomysskiy, Neftekumsk, Novopavlovsk and szpakowska post offices, a total of 11.1 million rubles.

Delivery in the regional center is carried out on 125 distribution sites. Last year for delivery in the regional centre has received more than 2 million 200 thousand registered letters, of which 6.5% of the category "Judicial" and over 1.7 million pieces of printed periodicals by subscription.

One postman in Stavropol delivered more than 1,500 registered letters in the month (including up to 100 pieces of those "Trial") and more than 1,300 print publications on a subscription basis, also 1300 pieces of promotional products.
