Oil Production and Oil Products

Stavropol Krai produces over 830,000 tons of oil and gas condensate per year. The number of oil wells being exploited currently is around 350. The leading oil producing company in Stavropol Krai is LLC RN-Stavropolneftegas, which is located in the City of Neftekumsk. Additional exploration and development of the earlier preserved oil fields are done by LLC Zhuravskoe; LLC Stavneftegeoprom; LLC NDP Chepaevskoe, and JSC Kirovskoe NGDU.

Research, design and geophysical activities for oil and gas organizations in the region and other regions is performed by teams of joint-stock companies "SevKavNIPIgaz" and Stavropolneftegeofizika.

A list of suppliers of oil products in the Stavropol territory is presented by a number of subsidiaries of vertically integrated oil companies. Among them are OJSC "Rosneft - Stavropol" and OOO "LUKOIL-yugnefteprodukt", a separate division of LLC "TD "Alfa-trade" in the Stavropol region, OOO PKP "Studiomaple",
LLC "Slavneft" and other organizations. Every year consumers in the region supplied more than 1.5 million tons of gasoline of all grades, diesel fuel and lubricants.
