Rostovanovskoe Water Storage
Brief introduction – the water storage is currently used for water intrusion, recreation, and fishing; this is a run of the river storage, regulated on a seasonal basis. The surface area (mirror) is 429 ha. The banks are full of meadow,-type plants, bushes, and trees.
The Rostovanovskoe water storage is home to 12 species of fish the most valuable of them being mirror carp, bream, perch, carp, and roach, while the especially important ones include silver carp and grass carp. Other fishes are either insignificant (in terms of fishing, e.g. catfish) or are not considered substantial in terms of nutritional value.
