Ethno-tourism is a type of informative trips the major purpose of which is to visit a certain place to investigate the architecture, culture, and life style of a particular people of an ethnic group that ever resided in the respective area.
Ethno-tourism is an actively developing trend in Levokumsky Municipal Rayon, which is developing the tourist cluster of Levokumie. The core of the cluster is in the Village of Novokumsky with a population of 2,200 people, and which is home to 300 of Nekrasovsky Cossacks. This cluster is to include an ethnic village with households of Nekrasovsky Cossacks, a hotel, and an ethnography museum.
Another Cossack household is to be seen in Predgorny Municipal Rayon where tourists can not only get to know the local Cossacks' culture yet also join them in all their special events and rituals so beautifully arranged and reconstructed here.
